Experience

Clare brings 40 years of design expertise through a diversified career. She originally worked in NYC for several architectural firms as a Commercial Architectural Interior Designer of large retail establishments, restaurants and high-end corporate offices.  After receiving her MFA in Theatrical Scenic Design from the Yale University School of Drama in New Haven, CT, she forged a 20 year scenic design career in the film, television and commercial advertising industries out of NYC and Los Angeles.

She worked on major A-list studio features as a Senior Scenic Designer, on independent films as a Production Designer and Set Decorator and in television as an Art Director. She was also a Senior Concept Designer for the design of Universal Studios' theme park in Orlando, FL. In addition, Clare worked as a photographer and was contracted as a Unit Still Photographer on independent films in the Los Angeles area.

After relocating to Arizona, Clare established a residential design company restoring and refurbishing older houses for resale. She also collaborates with a design colleague in the field of hospitality design in FL.

Clare currently freelances in various venues which include residential and hospitality interior design, decoration and space planning consultation. She provides color palette advise, furnishings, decor and layout arrangements. She specifies renovation products and materials and passes on her trade designer discounts to her clients.
