Clare worked as a Scenery Designer and Art Director on A-list studio feature films. The work entailed the designing of built scenery for filming on both studio stages and locations. Designs were drawn up by Clare for construction and implemented by the Construction Department's Coordinators and Prop-maker Foremen. Collaboration and coordination with the many crew personnel such as the carpenters, sculptors, painters, special effects artists and decorators involved was an integral part of her responsibilities.
